These shoes are cute. My daughter wore them about three full days at daycare and the thin black strip has started to come off. A minor inconvenience in terms of style. I could just glue it back, but I should have too. It shouldn't come apart with so little use. Other than the black strip starting to fall off, I had no other issues.

I purchased the light tan sequin color in hopes of using it for a dance recital, but we were never able to find a size that works. My daughter is 7, and in between a 1.5Y and 2Y in most shoes. I first ordered the Big Kid 2, but they were too long and wide. Sized down to the 1 Big Kid, and she was complaining they were uncomfortable and wouldn’t wear them.However, these are sooo much prettier in person than I anticipated. They have that iridescent shine to them. And the pastel colors on the sequin pair so nicely with the neutral beige color. The sequin seemed secured well and were all there on both pairs.These have faux lace up detail and velcro loop closure, which definitely made them look cheap, and fit more awkward. The tops were also thin and flimsy (I understand- what can I ask for for $20?). I would definitely pay double or triple for a higher quality/more durable shoe just like this, with half sizing, and actual laces.

My daughter hates shoes that tie, but she's too old for velcro sneakers now. These were a perfect compromise. She loves the unicorn image and that it wasn't babyish like many tend to be. They go on quickly, which is exactly what she wanted for when she's in a hurry to get outside to catch up with our neighbor walking his dog. They do seem to run a little bit, though. Quality isn't outstanding, but what I expected for th3 prigrr3

Edit (1/28/21)Wish I could take away the one star. No silica gel beads this time, now there is glue, everywhere.I totally understand these are not name brand. But for the price I expect better quality. I have gotten better shoes from the dollar store. Literally a dollar.I really wanted to like these shoes, my daughter wanted to love them.I will start by saying I do not normally write bad reviews. But these shoes came in a way that is unacceptable and not usable condition.My daughter's birthday is next week she was very happy to finally be getting new shoes. They arrived today appeared to be decently made and the correct size, but upon further inspection I noticed the silica gel bag was completely torn open. Both shoes were full of melted silica gel beads. I tried to scoop them all out got one shoe done then tried the other to no avail. My daughter is very upset, and I am very upset.There is absolutely no way these shoes can be worn safely. The silica gel is infused to the sole and under the "memory foam" which looks like it was already pulled up trying to possibly "fix" the issue??? I'm going to email the company for a refund. Do not waste your time and money!!! Unsafe product clearly!I'll update my review if the seller refunds or sends a better safe product. My hopes are not high. Completely disappointed for my daughter.
